From Steve Kerns, Event Coordinator: "Fort Crook Pioneer day is scheduled for September 21st, the third Saturday in September. School day would be the 20 with set-up on the 19th. Officers call for school day will be at 0800 on the 20th. We are welcome to stay over through Sunday the 22nd. Camps will be in the same location as last year. Gun emplacements will be a bit different to enhance safety distance and battle field options. More details as we get near. Spread the word......we will have fun!

            NO ALCOHOL, NO EXCEPTIONS !  All expended cartridge papers must be policed.

                                Flush toilets in museum building. Firewood provided. Potable water on site.

                                The Fort flourished in the antebellum era, a few rabble rousing citizens with                                                               southron sympathies and loaded weapons could demonstrate the then                                                                        political strife dividing the nation at that time.  More details as we get                                                                             closer.   d
