SPONSORS WANTED FOR LIVING HISTORY EVENTS
To Potential Sponsors: The Reenactors of the American Civil War is a California non-profit corporation based in Northern California and dedicated to presenting living history that entertains and teaches about the American Civil War. Each year we present several public reenactment events in communities across the Northstate. Civic-minded sponsors help us by donating the financial resources needed to put on these events as well as to continue our mission of bringing history to life for students and teachers throughout the region.
Our sponsors, through their generous donations help to further the cause of history education and at the same time help themselves by raising their profile as community leaders, interested in bringing education and affordable family entertainment to their communities. Based on level of donation, sponsors receive recognition in the form of being named on event print advertising, event programs and event broadcast media advertising. There are also options for having signage as a named sponsor of specific living history demonstrations (such as historical debates, military and civilian demonstrations, period music) or facilities (powder for artillery and infantry, wood, hay, public restrooms) at an event. Finally, sponsors may also wish to designate a specific use for their donation, such as history scholarships or sponsoring special classroom presentations or history materials for local schools. In return, that donation will carry their name when the scholarship, presentation or materials are given.
We currently have several upcoming events scheduled for the Northstate. If you are located or do business in, one of the following areas and would like to learn more about becoming a sponsor for that area’s event, please contact the person named as coordinator for that event:
