Join the members of the RACW as we present the sights, sounds and sensations of America's greatest conflict brought to life! Red Bluff Civil War Days is location for the RACW, and the community of Red Bluff is going all out to build interest in the event--attendance should be outstanding (as well as provide recruiting opportunities).
The event sponsors are furnishing ample hay, water and wood for reenactors. Food vendors and sutlers will be on site all weekend. For more information, visit the event website or contact Event Coordinators Rick Barram or Mark Richardson.
Red Bluff, "The Victorian City on the River", is located in the heart of northern California and the event site at Dog Island Park is conveniently situated on Main Street, in the middle of downtown. The park is located on the banks of the Sacramento and features lush green fields and ample shady oaks. The park is known as an excellent place to view numerous bird species populating the valley. Glass containers are prohibited in the park-please decant your libations into less breakable vessels.
Springtime in the valley offers warm days, balmy nights and lush orchards in bloom. Contact the Red Bluff Chamber of Commerce for details regarding lodging and dining in the area, learn about Museums & Attractions in Red Bluff to provide fun distractions for off-hours.

This premier event will feature School Day presentations on Friday, Two groups of local 8th grade students will tour the camps, the first session from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and the second group will tour from Noon to 2:00 pm. If you have participated in a school day, you know that these are worthwhile and rewarding events. If you have never been to one before, this is your chance to show students a glimpse of the Civil War not seen in history books. Make a maximum effort to attend this worthwhile educational occasion.
School Day participants may set up camps any time on Thursday, --a great chance to get the good spots! Please have all camps de-farbed and all vehicles out of camp by 8:00 AM.
